Get Involved With Indivisible!

Angela Pierce of Ocean View and Cheryl Siskin of Rehoboth Beach Delaware are working together to make plans to protect Delaware and Delawareans from the upcoming onslaught from the Trump administration, by starting a chapter of Indivisible, named  “Indivisible Delaware Beaches.”

Indivisible started as a reaction to the first Trump administration and its policies.  It has grown into a respected non-profit dedicated to our rights and to our Constitution, with thousands of local chapters doing their part. In this next Trump administration, we expect that efforts to protect rights locally will be met with national opposition. Click the button to see Indivisible’s guide.

We invite you to our first meeting at the Iron Hill Brewery, 19815 Coastal Highway, Rehoboth Beach on Monday December 16, 2024 at 4:00 PM. Please RSVP either by email or text to the number at the end of this letter.

Meanwhile, we ask everyone to read the guide, and visit indivisible.org. The website is the best way to see if this group is the right one for you and to see some of the achievements of other chapters working together to create change.

Here’s a couple action items already recommended by Indivisible National:

1)  Call our Senators to vote NO on H.R. 9495 -and ANY bill that it is attached to as an amendment.

Call anytime and speak to a live person or leave a message with your name and address so that our Senators know you are a constituent. All phone calls are recorded and counted.

Senator Chris Coons - 202-224-5042

Senator Tom Carper - 202-224-2441

2) Contact Senator Schumer’s office and tell him he should be confirming ALL JUDICIAL nominees for judgeship NOW. Democrats must confirm as many judges as possible now.

Senator Chuck Schumer 202-224-6542.

The general number for Congress is 202-224-2441

3) Show your support to our U.S. Representative-elect Sarah McBride as she faces despicable and dehumanizing attacks by her MAGA colleagues in the House:

Send her an encouraging (brief!) email of support:  Sarah.McBride@delaware.gov
